How much spider web do I need?

One standard pack covers roughly a doorway, corner or small window. For a full room, porch or front yard, allow three to four packs so you can stretch each one thin rather than leaving it clumped.

How do I make spider webbing look realistic?

Pull it far thinner than feels right. Anchor it at three or four points, then tease the strands apart until you can see through it. Clumped webbing reads as cotton wool; thin webbing reads as neglect.

Can spider webbing be used outdoors?

Yes, and it looks great across hedges, fences and verandah posts. Rain and wind will eventually pull it apart, so put it up close to the night rather than weeks ahead.
